Deadlines
OU Financial Aid Services imposes specific recommended deadlines in order to process financial aid applications in a timely manner. All students are strongly encouraged to abide by the recommended deadlines. Federal, state, and institutional deadlines also apply.
Late applications take longer to process and will have fewer awards available as aid is awarded on a first come, first served, file complete basis.
2013-2014 Recommended Financial Aid Deadlines
January 1, 2013
Apply on the FAFSA as soon as possible after this date for consideration for all aid programs for 2013-2014.
March 1, 2013
Recommended deadline for priority application processing and Financial Aid departmental scholarships. Sooner Promise students FAFSA deadline is March 1.
June 1, 2013
File must be complete at OU Financial Aid Services to be eligible for disbursement of Fall 2013 funds when classes begin. This includes all documents requested in your oZONE Missing Information, including Parent PLUS Loans, Graduate PLUS Loans, or Private Loan applications, Tribal Grant, and Study Abroad forms.
